Everyone a Minister. Every place a mission field

SASMM 2008 - School Term, May 15 - August 15, 2008

Two week outreach into Mozambique is included with weekly outreaches into outlying areas in South Africa and Swaziland.

Three-fold Strategy:

  • The Residential School Community - SASMM will host up to thirty international residential students, establishing a dynamic spiritual “culture” for the school., a model of Christian community and unity across ethnic lines, and bridging 1st World-3rd World barriers.
  • The Servant Leadership Training Program – from across the region will come “day students”, proven and promising Christian leaders for intensive training on impacting their communities for Christ, joining with the residential students for 3-4 days per week. Up to sixty day-students may be accommodated with finances for transport costs underwritten by South African sponsors.
  • Direct Community Impact - students will be engaged two-three days per week in transformational ministry in the surrounding area - from church-planting, leadership development and evangelism to Christian community development efforts.

Our Strategy in this three-fold plan is proven; that the spiritual “DNA” of the residential component establishes the culture for the entire SASMM day-school program – fostering a true transformational environment.

The weekly “Learn-Do” schedule of our program is also well-proven; personally vital and community-impacting faith develops when the truth is not just learned in the classroom, but is applied and tested in the field and then also taught to others. Education becomes owned when we do the things Jesus instructed us to join Him in doing.
